Buy a Home / Financial Inclusion

The Government of India estimates the shortfall in budget housing at 22 million households, which is quite substantial. The VBHC mission of building one million homes in the next 10 years is an effort to address this deficit.

However, access to long term housing loans at an affordable rate of interest isn't easy. Many prospective buyers either do not have the right type of proof of income or do not have the desired employment profile to access loans from banks and housing finance companies. Since these borrowers are committed to repaying the loan, they need support, particularly at the initial stages, for accessing mortgage loans.

VBHC and its sponsors will contribute and administer, free of cost, the following programme to enlist support from individuals, trusts and companies and enable financial inclusion by providing partial financial guarantee to banks or housing finance companies. Simultaneously, we are working with reputed lenders to provide loan programmes based on partial guarantees.
