School / Campus

Sujaya School in VBHC's first project, Vaibhava, in Bangalore, will be built on a 1.68 acre plot of land. The school has been designed in line with international best practices and with a view to providing flexible learning spaces. The environment will lend itself to learning in the classroom, as groups, individually and from the community perspective.

Classrooms are spaciously designed to seat 35 students per class and are equipped with full-fledged computer facilities, projection systems and play areas for the preschool. The playground of 0.74 acres and the rooftop play area will provide students ample opportunity to partake in physical education activities. The well-equipped auditorium will seat up to 900 students. The in-house hall, which will also serve as the community hall, will be used for indoor games. The school also plans to have extensive facilities for expressive and fine arts. Each floor is designed to have common areas where children from different sections and year groups can work and learn together. We also have a library on each floor where children read books relevant to their age grouping.

A sophisticated IT infrastructure will integrate offline and online learning and provide access to information through a well-stocked library, besides digital connectivity with internet and online libraries. In addition to computer laboratories, computers would be available in all the classrooms, library and the staff rooms for teachers. The entire campus will be Wi-Fi enabled.

The school will also be equipped with state of the art labs for the sciences and mathematics.
