School / Extra Curriculars

Sports and Games

Physical development is as important as education, therefore sports and games will be compulsory for every child at Sujaya.

In the younger years, the focus will be on physical development and gross motor skills through PE, drill, games like football, kho-kho, kabbadi, cycling, etc. and sport activities like gymnastics. Over the age of 12, students can choose any one sport offered by the school at the time and develop their skills further. Professional coaches will be appointed for certain sports and parent coaches will train the school team in others.

Expressive Arts

One of the objectives of education is to inculcate in children a sense of aesthetics. A lot of emphasis will be placed on Fine and Performing Arts. Sujaya is tying up with leaders in the field, like India Foundation for the Arts and Bhavan, to provide a holistic arts curriculum for students.
